Brownfield Ag Weather Today

Loosely organized tropical moisture along the southern Atlantic Coast is unlikely to achieve greater cohesion over the next few days, although rainfall totals could still reach 1 to 4 inches or more from Florida to the coastal Carolinas.  Meanwhile, similar amounts (1 to 3 inches or more) should occur over the next 5 days from the central and southern Plains into parts of the mid-South, Southeast, Ohio Valley, and Northeast.  In contrast, mostly dry weather—accompanied by the return of early-season heat—will prevail through the weekend in California and the Northwest, while showers will gradually end across the remainder of the western U.S.  By Sunday, temperatures will top 110°F in parts of the Desert Southwest and could reach 100°F as far north as eastern Washington.
