Brownfield Ag Weather Today

Western heat will ease slightly but temperatures will remain mostly above normal for this time of year.  A few Northwestern showers will accompany the slight cooling trend, while dry weather will prevail for the remainder of the week in much of the Southwest.  Meanwhile, active weather will continue in much of the central and eastern U.S., with 5-day rainfall totals expected to reach 1 to 3 inches or more from the northern Plains into portions of the Great Lakes region, and throughout the nation’s southeastern quadrant.  Significantly higher amounts may occur in eastern Texas and environs.  Any meaningful cool outbreaks will merely graze the nation’s northern tier, from the northern Plains into New England.
