Brownfield Ag Weather Today

Although active weather will persist during the next few days across the central and eastern U.S., showers will generally become less widespread as the week progresses.  Still, 5-day rainfall totals could reach 1 to 3 inches in many areas across the eastern half of the country, with locally higher amounts possible from the central Plains into the Great Lakes States.  As showers start to wane, heat will begin to expand eastward, with late-week temperatures topping 100°F on the Plains as far north as Nebraska.  Extreme heat will continue in the Southwest, but cooler air will accompany spotty showers across the Northwest.
