Brownfield Ag Weather Today
An extraordinarily active weather pattern dominating the central and eastern U.S. will begin to settle as the week progresses. However, during the next couple of days, rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches, with locally higher amounts, should still occur from the central Plains eastward, including much of mid-South, Midwest, and Northeast. Meanwhile, heat will spread eastward as drier weather arrives, with late-week temperatures topping 100°F at least as far north as Nebraska and readings exceeding 90°F in nearly all areas east of the Rockies, except across the nation’s northern tier. By the end of the week, meaningful precipitation will be mostly limited to the North, although tropical moisture may begin to spread into southern Texas.
