Brownfield Ag Weather Today
Above-normal temperatures will continue to dominate much of the country, although record-setting Eastern heat will gradually ease during the second half of the week. Still, extremely high humidity levels and elevated overnight temperatures will broadly maintain stress on livestock in parts of the central and eastern U.S. Additionally, the core area of heat will shift into the southwestern and central U.S. Meanwhile, a significant plume of moisture will remain intact during the next several days, boosting 5-day rainfall totals to 1 to 4 inches or more from the southern Rockies into the upper Midwest, Great Lakes States, and parts of the Northeast. Much of the South will receive only scattered showers, primarily during peak afternoon heating, while mostly dry weather will prevail in the West, excluding the central and southern Rockies.
