Brownfield Ag Weather Today

For Thursday, California’s unsettled, showery weather will expand to other areas of the West, including the Great Basin and Intermountain region. Subsequently, storminess will coalesce across the southern U.S., starting on Friday from Arizona to the southern half of the Plains. Southern precipitation should become heavier and spread eastward during the weekend, with event totals reaching 1 to 3 inches or more from the southern Plains to the southern half of the Atlantic Coast, excluding southern Florida. In contrast, dry weather will prevail during the next 5 days from the northern half of the Plains into the upper Great Lakes region. Elsewhere, storminess will return along the Pacific Coast during the weekend, with precipitation possibly becoming heavy by Sunday in parts of California. Mild weather will prevail nearly nationwide during the next 5 days, with any lingering chilly weather limited to the Great Lakes and Northeastern States.
