Brownfield Ag Weather Today
A storm system currently crossing the central Plains will reach the upper Great Lakes region early Saturday. Snow associated with the storm will generally spread from the Intermountain West and central Rockies into parts of the upper Midwest. Showers and thunderstorms associated with the storm’s cold front will affect areas as far north as the Midwest Friday, but will shift into the South during the weekend. Early next week, a disturbance racing eastward across the nation’s northern tier will generate snow, while a new low-pressure system should begin to form over south-central U.S. Five-day precipitation totals could reach 2 to 4 inches or more from central and eastern Texas to the Mississippi Delta and the Tennessee Valley. In contrast, little or no rain will fall during the next 5 days in California, the Great Basin, and the southern Atlantic States.
