Brownfield Ag Weather Today

Drought-easing rain across Florida’s peninsula should linger through Thursday. Meanwhile, Eastern freezes will occur on Wednesday morning as far south as the middle Ohio Valley and the middle Atlantic States, with potential adverse impacts on blooming fruits. Thereafter, lingering chilly weather should be mostly limited to the northern U.S. During the second half of the week, increasingly unsettled weather will overspread the western and central U.S., with 5-day precipitation totals reaching 1 to 2 inches or more in parts of the West, including many coastal and mountainous areas of California, as well as an area stretching from southern sections of the Rockies and Plains into the Great Lakes region. However, little or no rain will fall during the next 5 days from the Mississippi Delta to the Atlantic Coast States from Georgia to New Jersey.
