Brownfield Ag Weather Today

The sudden, drought-easing wet spell across Florida’s peninsula will linger into Thursday. Meanwhile, increasingly stormy weather will develop across much of the remainder of the country. Some of the heaviest precipitation, locally 1 to 3 inches or more, should fall in the Far West, particularly across the Sierra Nevada. Another area of significant precipitation— mainly during the weekend—will extend from the southern Plains into the upper Great Lakes region. In contrast, dry weather will prevail during the next 5 days from the Mississippi Delta to the Atlantic Coast States, from Georgia to southern New England. Any chilly weather during the next several days will be generally confined to parts of the northern and western U.S.
