Brownfield Ag Weather Today

Areas east of the Rockies will emerge from a late-season cool spell, except across the nation’s northern tier. Meanwhile, an early-season hot spell will continue across the West, with heat arriving on the Plains early next week. By Tuesday, May 12, high temperatures will approach or reach 100°F on the southern High Plains. During the transition to warmer weather, significant rainfall (1 to 2 inches or more) will be confined to the South, from eastern Texas to the southern Atlantic Coast, excluding Florida’s peninsula. However, most of the eastern half of the U.S. will receive some precipitation, albeit mostly light, during the next 5 days. In contrast, completely dry weather should prevail from the Pacific Coast to the Rockies.
