Brownfield Ag Weather Today

A series of fast-moving disturbances will maintain periodically showery conditions for the remainder of the week across much of the country, although precipitation will largely bypass the nation’s southwestern quadrant. During the next 5 days, some of the heaviest rain (locally 1 to 2 inches or more) should fall in the central Gulf Coast region and the Atlantic Coast States. Spotty precipitation will fall across the northern half of the U.S. Meanwhile, frost- and freeze-related concerns will finally subside, except from the Great Lakes region into New England, where some of the coolest weather should occur on Tuesday morning. In contrast, unusual warmth will dominate the western and central U.S., with slightly cooler air arriving during the second half of the week across the West.
