Brownfield Ag Weather Today

For the remainder of the week, locally significant rainfall will be focused along and near a slow-moving cold front spanning the nation’s mid-section from the northern Plains to the Rio Grande Valley. Five-day rainfall should mostly total 1 to 3 inches, with locally higher amounts, from the eastern slopes of the Rockies into the Mississippi Valley. In contrast, mostly dry weather will prevail in the Far West, except along and near the Canadian border, and in the middle and northern Atlantic States. Elsewhere, lingering Southern showers will shift toward the Gulf Coast, where 5-day totals will also reach 1 to 3 inches or more. Although many parts of the country will experience a warming trend for the remainder of the week, extreme heat will not be a concern.
