Brownfield Ag Weather Today

Unsettled, showery weather will continue for the remainder of the week, with the most significant rainfall (locally 2 to 4 inches or more) expected from the eastern Plains to the Appalachians. Some areas will have to contend with severe thunderstorms, which could result in localized wind and hail damage. Although some showers may occur across the High Plains, Deep South, and Atlantic Coast States, rainfall totals will be lower and temperatures will be higher. In fact, mid-week temperatures could reach 105°F on the southern High Plains, followed by late-week readings approaching 100°F in the middle Atlantic States. Elsewhere, mostly dry weather will prevail west of the Rockies, aside from scattered showers in the Pacific Northwest.
