Brownfield Ag Weather Today

Showers and thunderstorms triggered by a cold front will remain active for the next couple of days, leading to 1- to 3-inch rainfall totals from the central Plains to the central Appalachians. Higher totals may occur in Missouri and eastern Kansas. Late in the week, showers will become more active in the Southeast. Meanwhile, a new storm system will arrive across the northern U.S., leading to widespread weekend rain—and high-elevation snow in the northern Rockies—from the Pacific Northwest into the upper Midwest. In contrast, generally dry weather will prevail from California to Texas, aside from a few Southwestern showers. Elsewhere, summer-like heat will abate in many parts of the country, but will stubbornly persist in the south-central U.S.
