Brownfield Ag Weather Today

Following a sharp weekend cold outbreak across the central and eastern U.S., mild weather will cover much of the country next week.  During the initial stage of the warming trend, significant precipitation will be confined to the Pacific Coast States, with light snow spreading as far east as the Rockies.  Early next week, however, heavy rain (locally 2 to 5 inches or more) will develop from the western Gulf Coast region to the Mississippi Delta.  As moisture interacts with lingering cold air, some wintry precipitation, including sleet and freezing rain, may fall in the Midwest.
