Brownfield Ag Weather Today

During the next 2 days, a final round of heavy rain will fall across the South, leading to the potential for additional flooding in portions of the western and central Gulf Coast States.  Southern rainfall should total 1 to 2 inches, with similar amounts expected during the weekend from the central and southern Appalachians into the mid-Atlantic and southern New England.  On Sunday, precipitation may end as wet snow in parts of the Northeast.  Meanwhile, unsettled weather will continue in the Northwest, with heavy precipitation confined to areas west of the Cascades.  Much of the remainder of the country, including the northern and central Plains, the Great Basin, and the Southwest, should experience mild, dry weather during the next 5 days, with some record-setting high temperatures possible on the northern High Plains.
