Brownfield Ag Weather Today

For Wednesday, a disturbance crossing the Great Lakes and Northeastern States will spark scattered showers.  Meanwhile, a slow-moving storm system will move inland along the Pacific Coast before stalling over central Canada.  Showers and thunderstorms will remain active for several days along the storm’s trailing cold front, with 5-day rainfall totals reaching 1 to 3 inches or more from the Plains into the Mississippi Valley.  Significantly higher amounts (at least 5 inches) may occur in parts of the south-central U.S.  In contrast, hot, dry weather will prevail for the remainder of the week from California into the Southwest, while only light showers will fall in the eastern U.S.
