Brownfield Ag Weather Today
Lingering active weather in the middle and northern Atlantic States associated with the remnants of Debby will end later Friday, as the former hurricane accelerates northeastward. During the next several days, the only other significant rain will result from the interaction between the Southwestern monsoon circulation and a pair of Northern disturbances. Five-day rainfall totals could reach 1 to 3 inches or more across the Rockies, Plains, Four Corners States, and the southwestern Corn Belt. In contrast, little or no rain will fall across the Pacific Coast States, Great Basin, eastern Corn Belt, and interior Southeast. Meanwhile, rather cool weather will prevail from the Midwest into the Northeast, while heat will persist across much of the southern and western U.S., eventually spreading across the northern half of the High Plains.
