Brownfield Ag Weather Today

Showery weather will linger for several days in portions of the middle and southern Atlantic States, with additional rainfall totals of 2 to 4 inches or more possible in Florida, Virginia, and the Carolinas.  Meanwhile, a pair of cold fronts crossing the western and central U.S. will generate scattered to widespread showers, with the heaviest precipitation expected in Montana (locally 2 to 4 inches) and from the central Plains into the upper Midwest (1 to 2 inches or more).  In contrast, mostly dry weather will cover much of the South and an area stretching from the eastern Corn Belt to New England.  Late-season warmth will continue for a few more days from the Plains into the Midwest, followed by a push of cooler air.
