Brownfield Ag Weather Today

For the remainder of Wednesday, lingering showers will be confined to parts of the eastern U.S.  Subsequently, nearly the entire country will experience several consecutive days of warm, dry weather, aside from ongoing showers across Florida’s peninsula and increasingly unsettled weather along the remainder of the U.S. Gulf Coast.  In fact, the development of a tropical cyclone remains a possibility during the next several days over the Gulf of Mexico.  However, regardless of development, late-week and weekend showers could affect areas from coastal Texas to Florida.  In contrast, little or no rain will fall during the next 5 days across the Plains and large sections of the South, Midwest, and West.  Potentially record-setting warmth will accompany the dry weather, with late-week temperatures rising to 90°F or higher as far north as the western Corn Belt.
