Drought Conditions Worsen in northern Indiana
Drought conditions have deteoriated across northern Indiana due to much below normal rainfall over the past month and fall season. November deficits were in the 2 to 3 inch range and year-to-date deficits remain in the 4 to 10 inch range in some locations. South Bend recorded its driest November on record and Fort Wayne recorded its 2nd driest November on record. Water levels on most area lakes and rivers have dropped steadily over the past 90 days and remain below normal.
