Mild temps on the Plains, seasonal across the Corn Belt next week; more moisture ahead

Looking ahead, the 6- to 10-day outlook calls for the likelihood of near-normal temperatures across most of the eastern half of the U.S., while warmer-than-normal weather will prevail in Maine and from the Pacific Coast to the High Plains.

Meanwhile, near- or below-normal precipitation across most of the country should contrast with wetter-than-normal conditions in western Washington, southern Texas, and portions of the Atlantic Coast States.
