Warmest Spring on record for much of southern Wisconsin

This past winter was the 4th and 5th warmest ever observed in Milwaukee and Madison, respectively. Now, both cities have set the record for the warmest spring (March-May).

Notably, Milwaukee and Madison are a whopping 1.7 degrees and 1.5 degrees ahead of second place, respectively.

A record-setting month of March in temperatures greatly contributed to the warmth of the overall Spring averages.
