Wide-ranging temperatures across the Nation; pattern to remain active as March begins

Looking ahead, the 6- to 10-day outlook calls for the likelihood of near- or above-normal temperatures across the eastern half of the U.S., while colder-than-normal conditions will dominate the West. 

Meanwhile, near- or below-normal rainfall in the Deep South should contrast with wetter-than-normal weather across the remainder of the country.
