Butter leads dairy market losses Tuesday as nonfat dry milk climbs

Cash dairy prices were mostly down Tuesday at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.    

Dry whey was up $0.0025 to $0.74. Five sales were reported ranging from $0.73 to $0.74.

Forty-pound cheese blocks were down $0.0075 to $1.4750. No sales were reported. 

Cheese barrels were down $0.0325 to $1.5325. No sales were reported. 

Butter was down $0.0575 to $1.3925. Twenty-seven sales were reported ranging from $1.39 to $1.40. 

Nonfat dry milk was up $0.03 to $1.90. Fourteen sales were reported ranging from $1.8675 to $1.9050.
