Husker Harvest Days puts new ag technology in the field

A bird's eye view of the many offerings at Husker Harvest Days

The latest ag technology will be front and center at this year’s Husker Harvest Days.

Matt Jungmann, senior director of events with Farm Progress, says producers will get the latest look at what’s hitting the market. “Whether times are good or times are bad, the technology continues to advance, things continue to grow and evolve. There are always new mergers and acquisitions and new technologies being unveiled.”

He tells Brownfield a new exhibit will feature the latest innovation from startups and Nebraska Combine. “Not only can you look at it, but you can see it operate it and watch it do its thing. You can’t always trust everything because of AI on your phone or screen, but when you see it in person, it gives you a lot more confidence in what you’re talking about.”

Jungmann says the annual event is also known as the largest outdoor irrigated farm show, which will also feature the latest technology. “Utilizing that resource as wisely as possible and cost effectively as possible is critical.”

Gates open this morning and the event wraps up Thursday afternoon.
