Brownfield Ag Weather Today

A complex atmospheric pattern featuring the convergence of a cold front, a cut-off low, and tropical moisture will spark widespread, locally excessive rainfall southeast of a line from northern Colorado to northern Lower Michigan. Five-day rainfall should total 2 to 6 inches or more from the southeastern Plains and the western Gulf Coast region to the southern Appalachians. In stark contrast, general warmth will accompany mostly dry weather in California, the Great Basin, and from the Northwest into the upper Great Lakes region. As rain shifts into the southern and eastern U.S. during the weekend, the footprint of dry weather will expand.
