4R Nutrient Certification Program is a success for Ohio ag
The president and CEO of the Ohio AgriBusiness Association says the 4R Nutrient Stewardship Certification Program has been a success with nearly 3 million acres implementing the 4Rs – right source, right rate, right time, right place.
Chris Henney says the voluntary program in the Western Lake Erie Basin and throughout the state has reached 6,000 farmers, ag retailers, and nutrient service providers.
“We want to make sure that farmers are recognizing the efforts their nutrient service providers are making and that they are making conscious decisions to work with certified ag retailers,” he says.
