Senate won’t vote on USMCA until 2020
The House could vote on US Mexico Canada Agreement as early as next week, but the Senate won’t take up the trade deal until January.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell told reporters the Senate will not act on the USMCA between now and next week and will have to wait until after the impeachment trial.
Ag groups and officials were hoping to see the USMCA ratified by the end of the year.
