Good feed, good soil health

Ag consultant Tom Kilcer tells Brownfield Ag News winter forages can pay dividends in more ways than one.  “Soil health, I am glad to see, moved to the forefront,” said Kilcer, in an interview with Brownfield Ag News. Kilcer says his research, along with research done by the Rodale Institute, found that maintaining winter forages, leaving something living on the ground year-round, provides environmental and bottom-line benefits.
