Cheese blocks rally, butter falls Thursday at CME

Cash dairy prices were mixed Thursday at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.    

Dry whey was unchanged at $0.8150. No sales were reported. 

Forty-pound cheese blocks were up $0.0325 to $1.3025.  Three sales were reported ranging from $1.29 to $1.3025. 

Cheese barrels were unchanged at $1.4525. No sales were reported. 

Butter was down $0.02 to $1.34. Thirty-three sales were reported ranging from $1.32 to $1.35. 

Nonfat dry milk was up $0.0050 to $2.2050. Four sales were reported ranging from $2.2050 to $2.21.
