Dry whey leads cash dairy prices higher Thursday, while cheese and butter decline

Cash dairy prices were mixed Thursday at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.    

Dry whey was up $0.01 to $0.7725. One sale was reported at $0.77. 

Forty-pound cheese blocks were down $0.01 to $1.4225. No sales were reported. 

Cheese barrels were unchanged at $1.4525. No sales were reported. 

Butter was down $0.01 to $1.3450. Six sales were reported ranging from $1.3450 to $1.35. 

Nonfat dry milk was unchanged at $2.05. One sale was reported at that price.
