ADM program helps farmers market grain more efficiently

ADM is helping farmers connect with local grain markets through its Producer Direct program.

ADM’s Brooke Achenback tells Brownfield the goal is to make grain delivery as convenient and efficient as possible.

“Some farmers don’t actually know they can deliver their grain direct to ADM,” she said. “It’s something we think we have a competitive advantage on.”

She says Producer Direct provides flexibility, competitive grain bids, and access to the company’s global demand network.

“Helping make sure you have a marketing plan and that you are getting the best value for your dollar,” Achenback said. “We help you understand what’s happening in the markets – when they are going up and when they are going down.”

Achenback says the program is relationship-based and not transaction-based.
