CLAAS unveils new generation tractors at FPS

The next generation of CLAAS tractors is making its debut at the Farm Progress Show.
“We have the ARION 6 range, we have the AXION 8 range and we have the AVION 9 range.”
CLAAS tractor product specialist Tanner Whipps tells Brownfield the latest tractor lines are a game changer.
“This is the first time that we have ever had the AXION 8 range that goes over 300 horsepower, so we are actually now boosting up to 313 horsepower with the new dynamic power system that we are offering.”
According to CLAAS, the ARION® 6, AXION® 8, and AXION® 9 tractor lines span 165 to 450 horsepower and deliver significant advancements in operator comfort, drivetrain intelligence, automation and digital connectivity. They are designed for operations ranging from livestock and mixed farming to large-scale row crop production and custom contracting.
CLAAS says each series is designed for different horsepower requirements, but all three have a redesigned operator environment, feature the CLAAS CMATIC CVT transmission, and advanced electric systems to optimize machine performance.
Whipps says the company benchmarked and evaluated the tractors in markets around the world.
“I think this is one of the most developed products that we’ve ever brought,” he said. “We did a lot of interviews and talking with customers here in North America. They wanted more horsepower, they wanted higher hydraulic capacity, so we hit on those things for the North American producers.”
CLAAS says the new lineup also focuses on cab comfort to improve visibility, reduce fatigue and enhance productivity during long days in the field.
Whipps says the product launch at Farm Progress Show will be followed by order availability in September.
