The Missouri State FFA Advisor says more than 1,000 FFA members from across southern Missouri attended the Ozark Fall Farmfest on Friday.

Jeff Voris, a former ag teacher at Halfway High School, tells Brownfield bringing students to the show is a tradition.

“The best education these kids can get is networking with people in the real world.”

In addition to networking, FFA chapters have been running booths and competing in contests: the second annual FFA auctioneering contest took place on the fairgrounds Friday afternoon.

Six FFA members were also recognized at the Ozark Fall Farmfest for their leadership and involvement in the FFA with Brownfield Ag News and 105.1 the Bull Ag Youth Awards.

The 2026 Ag Youth Awards were given to Hannah Cook and Whitney Mueth from Nixa High School, Skyla Moore from Bolivar High School, Casey Bolton from Wheaton High School, Sophia Dehart from Halfway R-III and Charles Goodnight from Republic High School.
