Wisconsin harvest behind average pace

The USDA says harvest in Wisconsin is not as far along as usual.

As of Sunday, 4% of the state’s corn is harvested, which is even with the five-year average, with 69% in good to excellent condition, 92% dented, and 54% mature.  However, only 5% of soybeans are harvested, which is 5% behind the average pace.  Fifty-seven percent of Wisconsin soybeans are in good condition with 70% dropping leaves.
