Brownfield Ag Weather Today

Briefly resurgent monsoon-related showers will spread from parts of the West to the northern Plains, with 5-day rainfall totals reaching 1 to 2 inches in some locations from the Four Corners States to Montana and the Dakotas. Showers will also spread across the northern U.S. into the Great Lakes and Northeastern States. Farther south, lingering Southeastern showers could total an additional 1 to 3 inches or more, especially in Florida. In contrast, mostly dry weather will prevail during the next 5 days from the southern Plains into the Ohio Valley, including the mid-South. Heat will accompany the dryness across the south-central U.S. Elsewhere, an important pattern change in the western U.S. will initially feature cooler weather, followed early next week by increasingly showery weather in the Pacific Northwest.
