International Bacon Day is scheduled for Sept. 5, 2009. This marks the second anniversary of the holiday created by the Bacon Boys, bloggers from Colorado.

How do you like your bacon? Apparently, my bacon tastes are quite traditional as I have discovered in recent times. Where bacon is concerned, the sky is the limit for a lot of folks. From Bacon and Peanut Butter Cookies and bacon caramels to apple bacon coffeecake and candied bacon martinis. Chocolate covered bacon was a hit at several state fairs last year and is back in ’09.
