Perdue recalls Sweet Italian Lean Turkey Sausage Links

Perdue Farms has recalled about 10,000 pounds of Perdue® Sweet Italian Lean Turkey Sausage Links due to an undeclared milk allergen.

The only Perdue® product impacted by this recall bears the establishment number “EST. -286” inside the USDA mark of inspection on the front of the package. Each label will also bear a “Use By” date of March 30, 2010 or before. The recalled products were produced between March 3rd and March 15th and distributed to retail establishments in Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Florida and Virginia.

The problem was discovered by the company and there have been no reports of illness related to the product. Concerned consumers also can call Perdue, at 1-800-4-PERDUE, or 1-800-473-7383.
