1st blender pump coming to downstate Illinois

State and local officials will celebrate with the Illinois Corn Growers Association in Sullivan this Friday downstate Illinois’ first ethanol blender pump. It’s the first of 20 pumps planned through a pilot project. The project is run through the Illinois Department of Agriculture using public and private funds from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity and the Illinois Corn Marketing Board.
