Colombia pact will bode well for U.S. corn

Many who have an interest in exporting goods internationally are seeing greater urgency for the U.S. to ratify free trade agreements with Panama, South Korea and Colombia. The latter is of particular interest to U.S. corn growers. U.S. Grains Council International Operations Director Chris Corry says every day without that agreement gives a greater competitive advantage to South American corn exporters who enjoy a lower tariff on corn entering Colombia.
