Getting the message to Rural America
Firms that want their message heard in Rural America are curious about how people there get information. An Upper Midwest marketing firm is getting the answers directly from farmers and farm couples. Sara Steever was among the people from Sioux Falls-based Paulsen Marketing that spent three days at a major farm show in Iowa interviewing people about how quickly they’re adopting communications technology. “We have found, [for instance], that couples have a process when they’re making a big purchase decision,” says Steever, “so we like to find out about that.”
