Regulator: EPA’s job is consistent with farmers’ job

Karl Brooks says he wants what most farmers want, to leave good soil and water resources for the next generation. The Region 7 administrator for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency says producers are trying to make a living by taking care of the land and the water surrounding them. Brooks says the agency has to be nimble and transparent, because that’s what farmers expect and want from a regulating body.
