Illinois FB receives Pinnacle Award

Illinois Farm Bureau was one of just 5 states to receive the Pinnacle Award during the American Farm Bureau annual meeting in Atlanta. The award is given to recognize outstanding program achievement combined with membership growth. In addition to the Pinnacle Award, Illinois Farm Bureau received three President’s Awards and the Apex Award, given to states that have increased donations by at least 10 percent.

The Stephenson County Illinois Farm Bureau was one of 15 counties nationwide to receive an award in the Education and Agriculture Promotion category, and Dr. Bob Thompson, recently retired Gardner Chair for Agricultural Policy at the University of Illinois received the AFBF Distinguished Service Award.
