NCGA official discusses Viptera situation

Bunge’s mid-August announcement that it would not accept Syngenta’s Viptera-traited corn because China has not approved import of the grain has caused quite a stir in the grain industry.  Consolidated (CGB) took a similar stand and now there’s talk that some ethanol plants that ship dried distillers grain products to China are evaluating their policies, too.  Nathan Fields, director of biotechnology and economic analysis for the National Corn Growers Association, discusses the latest developments with Brownfield’s Ken Anderson.
