Purdue launches new Indiana soils website

Purdue University faculty and students along with the US Department of Agriculture recently created a website that will serve as an education resource in crop, environmental science and soil science classes this fall.  The Integrating Spatial Educational Experiences (Isee) website will also help the public better understand soils and landscapes.  Isee is an interactive map that shows the state’s landscape and soil survey data.  Darrell Schulze says Isee is an online way to view maps of the soils and landscapes of Indiana that have previously been found in books.
