Rep. Noem receives ethanol award

Congresswoman Kristi Noem has been given the Fueling Growth Award from the ethanol advocacy group Growth Energy. The award recognizes Noem’s leadership in fostering the nation’s energy independence through the production and use of ethanol. Growth Energy CEO Tom Buis says they are “grateful for the leadership and wisdom of Representative Noem.”

Noem said as both a South Dakota farmer and policy maker – she’s seen the benefits of the ethanol industry on the state’s economy – and will continue to support ethanol for America’s energy independence.
