Myths behind Meatless Mondays

The “Meatless Monday” campaign was revived in 2003 by a former advertising agent to reduce meat consumption by 15% to “improve personal health and conserve the health of the planet”.  Sarah Hubbart, Communications Director with the Animal Ag Alliance says while the campaign has gotten more coverage in the mainstream media – it is underlined by a very vegan agenda.  Hubbart says the Animal Ag Alliance has a new series of educational materials to educate consumers about the myths of Meatless Mondays.
