The benefit of research farms
The Howard G. Buffett Foundation is well-known for its work to empower rural communities in developing nations. The foundation is also active in different research projects stateside.
The reasearch being done on Howard Buffet’s land in Illinois and Arizona is practical, on farm research on tracts of land comparable to makes up many farming operations. He says they are looking at ways to increase a farmer’s production, conserve our natural resources in addition to increasing the farmer’s bottom line.
