Cut, or no cut, Vilsack says safety net essential

U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack talked to Missouri and Iowa Farm Bureau members about Congressman Paul Ryan’s proposed $33 billion cut to farm programs. Just the same, he later told Brownfield, farmers need “a crop insurance program that is financially feasible and stable.”
